Mary Jane Geist

Mary Jane Geist died May 17, 2018 at the age of 90.

She is survived by her four daughters, Carolyn Willkie and her husband Bill, of Castro Valley, CA, Mary Geist of Denver, CO and Jo Ann and Roberta of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; and two great grandsons.

Mary Jane has been very active at Our Lady of the Annunciation church and had the honor of meeting Mother Theresa at a National Council of Catholic Women conference in New Orleans, representing this Archdiocese of Santa Fe, NM. In 1972.  Mary Jane received the Archbishop Lamy Award from Archbishop James P. Davis for her services in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 25, 2018, 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation, 2532 Vermont St. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.

Interment will take place on Saturday, May 26, 2018, 9:45 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery with her husband, Bob Geist.
