Mary "Betty" Zamora

Age 98, a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years, formerly of Socorro, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Moises S. Zamora. Betty is survived by her daughters, Theresa Z. Zebrowski of Albuquerque and Barbara Z. Beane of Cambria, CA; sons, Joe R. Zamora of Ann Arbor, MI, Moe Zamora and partner, Guy Lisella of Santa Fe, NM; daughter-in-law, Irma Gonzales of Santa Fe, NM; brother, Manuel Saiz and wife, Lucia of Austin, TX; four grandchildren, J. Andrew Zamora (Melissa), Mark A. Zamora (DeAnne), Elizabeth Hill (Gene), and Melanie Stahl (Teddy); and seven great-grandchildren. Betty was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH - University. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 11, 2013, 9:00 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper St. NW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be J. Andrew Zamora, Mark A. Zamora, Gene Hill, Teddy Stahl, Shane Hill, and Gannon Moises Zamora. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Betty's name to the Old San Miguel Mission Building Fund, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro, NM 87801.
