Mary Vernon

VERNON, MARY Age 68, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, died after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Mary was born in Albuquerque on September 11, 1944 to J. W. and Lola Hedges. She was a long-time, active member of First Baptist Church. Mary is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kenny Vernon; sons, Jason Vernon and wife, Miwa, and Mark Vernon and wife, Dawn; grandchildren, Kenny Vernon III and fiancé, Alexsandra Meidinger and her son, Tyler, Rhianna Vernon, Alesha Vernon, Lucas Vernon, Jason D. Vernon and Arianne Vernon; brothers, Dr. Don Hedges and Bob Clouse; nephews, Dawson Hedges and wife, Stacy and Paul Hedges and wife, Kelly; and uncle, Fred Clouse and wife, Shirley. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenny Vernon Jr.; brother, Joseph Clouse; and her parents. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH-Westside, with Pastor Kevin Linthicum, officiating.
