Mary Endres Straquadine

Mary Endres Straquadine passed away on September 25, 2015. Mary was a resident of Albuquerque since 1967. She was born in Columbus, OH, on April 7, 1927, the daughter of Adam and Marie Heinz Endres, both deceased. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, and her sister, Dolores Bellamy. Mary was the proud mother of Angela and David Rave, Mariann Wheeler, Joel and DeAva, Gary and Alyson, Anthony, Jr., and Judi, Paul and Carol. There are 14 grandchildren, Eric, Adam, Paul, John, and D. TomA�s Rave, Noel Schaefer, Matthew, Cara, Amber, Ira, Justin, Marie, Joshua, and Nora; and great-grandchildren, Amelie and Sonio Rave, and Natalie Schaefer. Mary was always supportive of her children and grandchildren in their academic and athletic endeavors and so proud of their achievements. She is a powerful role model for her daughters and granddaughters. Mary was a compassionate friend. Her organizational skills and efficiency were legendary. Her grandsons will be pallbearers; her granddaughters will be honorary pallbearers. A viewing will be on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. with Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. Mass will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 619 Copper Ave, NW. Burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roadrunner Food Bank, 5840 Office Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109 or the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Immaculate Conception Church.
