Mary Dolores Ricci

Mary Dolores Ricci, age 100, passed peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is survived by her two children: Ann Norwood of Rockford, Michigan and Tom (Dorothy) Ricci of Davidsonville, Maryland; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister Cece Archer of Lubec, California and half-sister Frances Ybanez who resides in Texas.

Mary was born September 9, 1921 in Longmont, Colorado to Enrique and Magdalena Bargas Lucero. As a young child, due to her father's passing, she was sent to the Queen of Heaven Orphanage in Denver, Colorado and lived there until the age of 16.  Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francis Emanuel Ricci, to whom she was married 52 years. They moved to  Peralta, New Mexico  from the Denver, Colorado area  after retirement and enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors together. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in various ways. She  took pleasure in doing genealogy, was secretary of the local  garden club and an excellent seamstress from an early age.

She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and staff members who lovingly cared for her at the BeeHive Home in Bosque Farms and American San Pablo Senior Living Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
