Mary Beth (Stroud) Preber
March 17, 1935 — November 26, 2017
Mary Beth Preber was born March 17, 1935 in Hagerman, NM to E.S. Stroud and Roma Martin Stroud. She passed from life at age 82 on November 26, 2017 in Albuquerque, NM. She is survived by her son, Bradley James Preber and wife, Lois Elizabeth Preber of Phoenix, AZ. She has five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter James Preber; four sisters; one brother; and her son, Gregory Justin Preber.
Mary was a dedicated Christian, often listening to classical music and studying the Bible in her pastime. One of her favorite verses was 2 Timothy 4:6-7: “…and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”. Having a keen sense of humor, Mary lived an exciting life, traveling, entertaining, and enjoying family time. A private family service will be held and Mary will be interred at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, NM.
