Mary Lou Neves

Mary Neves, born January 1, 1937, beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, joined her husband , Lowell Neves in heaven Friday, February 2, 2018. Her husband of 52 years, and her grandson, Jacob Neves, preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Martie Neves and Karen, Deborah Miller and Bruce, Terry Souza and Steve, Cindy Gillespie and Gerrit; her treasured grandchildren, Dawn Souza, Kyle Miller and Stacy, Sean Miller, Tasha Montoya and Nate, Leah Staton and Mark, Jeremiah Weaver, Angela Weaver; and numerous great grandchildren, family and friends.

Mary and Lowell married in Abilene, TX on July 12, 1953. They moved to Albuquerque, NM soon after being married where they raised their loving family. Mary was an experienced seamstress and quilter who loved sharing her beautiful quilts with family members, who will cherish these treasures forever. In addition to these and other passions, Mary was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys and deeply enjoyed cheering them on every Sunday! Mary Neves always put family above all and she will be deeply missed. We all rejoice in the knowledge that Mary and Lowell will stroll through heaven together forever.
