Mary Olympia Medina

MEDINA, MARY OLYMPIA At the age of 92, Mary, beloved mother, wife, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister, was embraced by the Lord and taken to eternal life on Saturday, May 31, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Silas Medina; mother, Telesfora Martinez; father, Celso Martinez; sisters, Marcelina Lujan and Claudia Martinez; brother, Leopoldo Martinez; grandson, Toby Medina; great-grandson, Miles May; and by her three little angels. She is survived by her brother, Prudencio Martinez; five sons, Frank Medina and wife, Connie, Ernest Medina and wife, Tonie, Clarence Medina and wife, Josie, Steve Medina and Silas Medina and companion, Julie; two daughters, Marie Hermosillo and husband, Ismael and Grace Sanchez and husband, Sonny; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom will always be remembered for her fantastic home cooked meals, devotion and love she had for all her family. The Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, 7:00 p.m., at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW. Mass will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven.
