Mary Ann Lydon

Mary Ann Lydon, age 78, one of the very best of us, passed away Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016. Mary Ann was known for her patience, kindness and generosity. She would want to be remembered as honest, having a great sense of humor and being a tireless worker. She never complained on her own behalf. She lived her vocation as a wife and mother first and shared a deep and growing love for Jesus and his holy Church with surviving husband Robert over the last 60 years. She is also survived by her three sons Patrick, Daniel and Sean; sister Valorie; her seven grandchildren Daniel, Caitlyn, Raechel, Will, Julianna, Connor, and Robert; and by five great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many wonderful friends and extended relations. We pray she now joins her own mother Elsie, father Wilhelm and sister Arlene in the presence of our Lord. A rosary will be held on Wednesday April 6, 2016, 6:30 p.m. at Holy Child Parish in Tijeras, NM followed by a reception. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on her birthday April 7, 2016 also at Holy Child Parish. In lieu of flowers, our family requests your prayers for mom and for all the departed, and that you instead make a donation of any amount in Mary Ann's name to the Eternal Word Television Network.
