Mary Sandoval

Our beautiful, special daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend Isabel Sandoval, aged 84, left us, on April 3, 2024, to be with her true love Rudy. She was surrounded by her daughters Marti Sandoval and Connie Gomez. Born on August 31, 1939, in Galisteo, NM she was the daughter of Paulita and Felipe Chavez.  She was preceded in death by her much beloved husband, Rudy Sandoval, her mother and father, her sisters, Consuelo, Julia, Margaret and brothers Leopoldo, Victor and Jimmy. She is survived by her daughters, Marti Sandoval and Connie Gomez and son-in-law Hector, grandsons Ryan and Nathan, sisters Susie Lopez and Mercedes Chavez, sisters-in-law, Dolores Mares and Carmelita Guinn (JR), as well as many, many nieces and nephews.

For as much as she will be missed, we are grateful to God for lending her to us to liven up our lives and show us unconditional love as she showed to all her family and friends. She especially cherished her relationships with her nieces and nephews that chose to keep company with her. Equally grateful are her numerous friends throughout New Mexico that enjoyed her spunk, stories, spirit of life and never-ending conversation. She left a trail of friendships throughout her travels around NM and throughout her life.

She was an active member of St Joseph's on the Rio Grande and a member of the church's Single Seniors group where she met many friends. Shirley and Dorothy are two of her special friends that she referred to as, "her guardian Angels".

Although you have left us for a better place, we will continue to hold treasured memories of you in our hearts. Rest in Peace. We love you BIG BIG BIG!
