Mary Belle Hammonds

Mary Belle Hammonds died peacefully of natural causes in Vancouver, WA on February 28, 2016. Mary Belle was born August 7, 1932 in Alabama to Mary Pressley and Rufus Webb. She lived the past six years in Vancouver, WA, though her longest place of residence was Albuquerque, NM for more than forty years. She was preceded in death by her eldest son Dr. Karl Hammonds and is survived by her son Eric N. Hammonds; daughter Beryl K. Hammonds; brother John H. Pressley; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; in-laws; multiple nieces and nephews and many friends. She will be interred with her husband James at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 10, at 12:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
