Mary Hall, age 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on Monday, June 13, 2022. She entered this world on August 6, 1929, in Kemp, OK, born to Walter and Pearl Barnett. Mary spent most of her life in Albuquerque, coming to Albuquerque as a young girl with her parents and two sisters. Frances and Doris. Her brother, Walter, was added to the family in 1950. She attended elementary school, high school and college in Albuquerque. Mary started her family in Albuquerque where her two daughters, Sandra and Eugenia "Ginger," were born to her and Harold Hunt. The family moved to Livermore, CA where she worked for Lawrence Livermore Laboratory (LLL). After a divorce, she later married Ken Hall, the love of her life, in 1970. They both worked and retired from LLL. After retirement they moved to Bend, OR, then moved back to Albuquerque when Mary's mother became ill. Ken and Mary traveled many parts of the world together. After his death in November 2000, she continued traveling and exploring the world. Besides traveling Mary was an avid reader, loved puzzles of all kinds and especially loved her church and church family.
She is survived by her daughters, "Sandy" Dunker, "Ginger" Whitney and son-in-law, Chris; brother, Walter Barnett, and sister-in-law, Penny; grandchildren, Lindsay, Scott, Alyssa and Jeff; great-grandchildren, Cody, Zeke, Zach, Noah and Sunny.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., at First Baptist of West Albuquerque, 6400 Golf Course Road, Albuquerque, NM 87120. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Wounded Warriors; Paralyzed Vets of America or USO.
