Mary Loretta "Loretta" Garcia

Mary Loretta Garcia passed away on May 11, 2016 at the age of 61, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Loretta is predeceased by her father, Ramon Garcia, and her brother, Steve Garcia. Loretta is survived by her loving mother, Socorro Garcia;three loving children, Chassidy Renee Garcia and fiancé Patrick Aragon, Christa Rae Garcia, and Jeromy James Garcia and his wife Melissa Garcia; a wonderful grandson, Jeromy James Garcia, Jr; sister, Laurie Maynez and husband Paul; nieces and nephews who loved her very much, Steve Garcia, Joshua, Andrea, and Desiree Maynez and other relatives and friends. She was born in 1954 in Killeen, TX and graduated from Albuquerque High. Loretta worked at Lindy's Coffee Shop for about 10 years and multiple other restaurants. She was a loving and outgoing person who loved to tell stories. Loretta was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at FRENCH - Lomas on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Loretta's name to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
