Mary Frew Davis, 97, a resident of Albuquerque for 58 years, passed away on September 29, 2017. Mary is survived by three children, Mary “Bo” Andrews of Albuquerque, John Davis (Cheryl) of Albuquerque, and Jennifer Steinman (Steve) of Canyon, Texas; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 76 years, James Daniel Davis; her oldest child, Julia Anne Davis; her parents, Peter and Janet Fleming Frew; ten siblings; and son-in-law, Wayne Andrews.
Mary was an active member of her community for her entire life. She served as the President of the Kirtland Officers’ Wives Club, was an active member of the Cosmopolitan Women’s Club of Albuquerque, the Albuquerque Garden Club, Sunday School Teacher, and a Girl Scout Troop Leader. She was faithful to her God, her country, and her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at FRENCH-Wyoming. Funeral service will take place on Thursday October 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
