Age 89, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, October 18, 2014. She is survived by her children, Dory Casaus and wife, Linda, Mark Casaus and wife, Mary Carol, Sheree Castillo and husband, Tony; grandchildren, David Casaus, Anthony Casaus, Vincent Castillo, Aaron Castillo, Patrick Castillo, Andrea Simms, Christina Rodriguez, Amanda Casaus and Nicole Casaus; and great-grandchildren Victoria, Alex, Luke, Dawson, Emeric, Genevieve, Riley, Abraham and Michael. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles T. Casaus. Mary Jane retired in 1985 after 42 years with the VA Hospital. She enjoyed playing bingo and met her husband while playing bingo. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and always lent a helping hand and never wanted anyone to do without. She made sure all the family knew they were loved. She really loved watching the old classic movies. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. with Visitation two hours prior at FRENCH-Lomas Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 23, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church on Lomas and Tennessee. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Casaus, Anthony Casaus, Vincent Castillo, Aaron Castillo, Patrick Castillo and Dawson Chandler. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Guerra and Larry Guerra.
