Marva Joy Coston

We are sad to announce the passing of Marva Joy Coston of Tucumcari and Rio Rancho, NM. She died unexpectedly of natural causes at age 69 on Tuesday, August 9th, 2022, at home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma nana, and great grandma. She married the love of her life Terry Lynn Coston. She is survived by her Husband, Terry; her children, Thomas and Deb Coston, and Karen and Chad Thompson; her grandchildren, Rebecca Coston, John Coston, Corey and Kendle Burgess, Aleona Reyes, Thomas Jr. and Courtney Coston, Elisa Burgess, Dominic Hutchison, Nicole Hutchison, and Melanie Hutchison; her great-grandchildren, Justin Coston, Annelisa Burgess, Logan, Harper, and Wyatt Faith Burgess. Marva joins her parents, Smokey, and Marie Cooper; sister, Linda, and Jim Tidwell; and grandson, Tyler Burgess in heaven. She was loved and cared for by many and will be deeply missed.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, 3906 19th Ave SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124, followed by a Graveside service at Beever Cemetery in Forrest NM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baptist Children's Home, Noon Day Ministries or Feed the Children as these were organizations that Marva supported.
