Martin F. Gutierrez, 56, entered this world on May 2, 1962 and went home to the Lord on January 7, 2019 while surrounded by his family.
He worked for the United States Postal Service for 28 years where he retired. He was an avid member of the community where he coached youth basketball for over 30 years.
Martin is survived by his wife of 26 years, Polly Gutierrez; his children, Antonio Gutierrez, Ariana Gutierrez, Lindsey Quillin and husband Cutler; grandchildren, Ellis and Neely Quillin; siblings, Tina (Tim), Lisa (John), Lynn (Steve), Greg (Richard), Judith, Chris (Sarah), Marc (Julie), Matt (Chrissy) and Andrew; father-in-law, Pablo Chavez; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his father, Fernando Gutierrez and mother, Emily June Gutierrez.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee.
Inurnment will take place at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery following the Mass.
