Martha "Jane" O'Neal

Martha "Jane" O'Neal, age 86, peacefully passed on Monday, January 6, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Melvin K. O'Neal; sons, Melvin R. O'Neal and wife Sheila, and Kenneth D. O'Neal; grandchildren, Jonathan, Michelle, Kayla, and Spencer; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Josiah and Judah; and brother, Harold T. Clayton and wife Carol. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Julius Clayton and Amelia Irene Clayton of Cumberland, MD. Jane worked for Los Alamos National Laboratories for 25 years. She was a member of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Rd. NE., with a reception to follow. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Jane's name.
