Marta Christina Nicasio

Marta "Marty" Nicasio, 64, left this life on May 15th 2021. Born to Epimenia "Minnie" Nicasio on May 31st 1956,

she was the youngest of three children but grew up with a large extended family as her mother was one of ten.

As a young woman she ran track and field in High School and went on to attend cosmetology school in pursuit of modeling and found herself living in Colorado; Boston, Mass and Hawaii, chasing life and love.

A woman of many talents and interests, she loved working at Roland's Nursery where she harvested her passion as a horticulturalist and later as a TSA Agent at the Sunport detecting bombs. To know Marta was to know her passion for her daughters, animals, gardening, cooking, SYFY and creating visual art. Marta lived life in color and by her own rules where only good vibes were allowed and surrounding yourself with things that made you feel good was Marta's guiding star.

Marta was preceded in death by her sister Pauline, her brother Joe and her mother Minnie. She is survived by her daughters Sasha and Tanya, and her grandson Kaidan and longtime partner Mark.
