MANSFIELD, MARLOWE Age 90, died peacefully in her Albuquerque home on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 with family by her side. She was born on December 26, 1923 in St. Cloud, MN. Marlowe was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Revaud (John) Mansfield; granddaughter, Kimberly; and grandson, Justin. Marlowe is survived by her children, Mike and wife, Terri, Diane, Jan, Craig and former wife, Luana, Jimmy and wife, Marian and Scott; grandchildren, Steve, Shayna, Shawn, Jason, Lindsay, Bryan, Lauren, Cody and Austin; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Ashley, Logan, Kellen and Adelyn; sister, Arlyn; and her dogs, Skoshie and Mr. Bentley, who were with her to her last breath, representing many family pets throughout her good long life. Marlowe loved sports and music growing up in Minnesota, and was an accomplished pianist. She later met John is California, married for life, and supported the family during the 26 years in the Air Force, including 3 years in Japan. They retired from the military to Albuquerque in 1959 and avidly pursued their love of traveling in their Winnebago to ideal fishing spots. Marlowe enjoyed working part time at Sears after the kids were all in school. She was devoted to God and her Catholic faith, as well as to her family, and was a compassionate friend to many. Rosary and Mass will be conducted by her son, Father Scott Mansfield, on Friday, June 20, 2014, with Rosary at 10:30 and Mass at 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 1502 Sara Rd SE, in Rio Rancho. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider having a mass said for Marlowe, whose faith was every strong.
