Marlon Dwayne Thompson passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014. He was born on February 7, 1980. Marlon is survived by his mother, Olivia Aguilar; grandmother, Esther Aguilar of Artesia, NM; father, Elwyn Thompson; step-father, Greg Franklin; brother, Estevan Franklin; his daughters, Mya and Monique Thompson and their mother, Michelle Gallegos, son, Marlon Thompson Jr.; and step-son, Mario Tavasci, all of Albuquerque; godmother, Sandra Ramzy; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends from Albuquerque, Artesia, NM, Dallas, TX, Tucson, AZ, Denver, CO, Oklahoma, Memphis, TN, Kentucky, and El Paso, TX. Services will be held Monday, January 5, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE, with Pastor Eric Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Memorial contributions may be made to any Compass Bank, to Olivia Aguilar for the memorial fund for Marlon Thompson.
