Mark L. Woods

Mark L. Woods, 78, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, was called to his eternal resting place on December 26, 2017. He entered this world on July 26, 1939 in Great Falls, SC, born to Walter and Marie Wood. He is survived by his daughter, Rosa Woods; son, Mark Woods; daughter-in-law, Jodie Woods; grandchildren, Melanie, Ryan, John, Francisco, Amanda, Russell, and Madison; and great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Nolan, and Hudson. He is also survived by brothers, JT, Johnny, Lawrence, and Sam; plus many nieces and nephews.

Dad was very proud of being a veteran with 20 years of service in the Air Force. He then retired after 22 years as a programmer analyst with Bernalillo County. He was married for 50 years to the love of his life, Charo, who preceded him in being called by our Lord. He was known as "Gramps" to every child and youngster he met and was also known as a baby whisperer. He was truly an incredible man. Everyone he met was a friend. His generosity was inspirational.

A Rosary will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 12500 Carmel Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m.
