Mark Edward Tinker, age 33 of Albuquerque, beloved son of Kristi Tinker and Bill Tinker, J.D., (deceased), went to be with our Lord on January 17, 2019.
Mark graduated from high school where he participated in wrestling and motorbike racing. Mark enlisted in the US Army and served from 2003 through 2005 as part of the 3rd US Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard). The highlight of his service was when he was selected to stand watch over former President Ronald Reagan as the President lay in state in the Capitol Rotunda. After the Army, Mark had various jobs and eventually earned his commercial driver’s license (CDL). He held positions with several trucking companies.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Bill Tinker J.D., his maternal grandparents, Marian ”Mane” and Jack “Daddy Jack” Miller, and his paternal grandparents, June and Edward Tinker, LTC (retired). He is survived by his mother, Kristi Tinker, his sister, Michelle Gill (David), half sister, Sharon Richardson, and half brother, David Wells. He also leaves many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Alcoholism Research.
Friends may visit beginning Saturday, January 26, 2019, 10:00 a.m. followed by his Funeral Service, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH – University.
