Mark A Olson

OLSON, MARK Mark Andrew Olson, born May 1st, 1954 in Santa Fe, NM passed in the final hours of Thursday November 14th after battling a rare degenerative muscle disease. His will strong, he fought well beyond his expected survival time and departed from this realm surrounded by his family and loved ones in a state of rest and comfort. He is survived by his children, Andrea Lucero (and husband Patrick), Ryan Olson, David Miller (and wife Kim), Gary Miller (and wife Octavia), and Jeff Centers (and wife Marci); his sisters, Carleen Maxon (and husband Ralph), Diane Steimle (and husband Richard) plus eleven grandchildren, five nieces and one nephew. Retired from a career with Public Service Company of New Mexico, Mark was well recognized in his work ethic and accomplishments as a self-built success. Working his way from the bottom up he created a family environment filled with love and care for his children beyond the passing of his beloved wife, Elizabeth Musgrave Olson. Mark was also preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Dorothy Olson and brother, Gary Olson. A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, November 19 at 9:30 a.m. at FRENCH - University, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Friends may visit on Monday, November 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University.
