Mark J. Husman

Mark J. Husman passed away Monday, February 15, 2021. Mark was born at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines on May 2, 1968. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Husman; and infant sister, Theresa. He is survived by his mother, Sheila Husman; his brother, Eric Husman and wife, Kathleen; sister, Stephanie Telge; niece, Riley Telge; and nephew, Ciaran Telge.

Mark graduated from Del Norte High School. After two years at New Mexico State University, Mark entered the US Army and served during Desert Storm. Upon discharge, he resumed his education and graduated from the University of New Mexico. Mark loved to cook, try new recipes and eat. He graduated from TVI culinary arts and went on to be a certified dietary manager in a skilled nursing center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, 11:30 a.m., at the Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd NE in Rio Rancho. He will be interred at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Donations in memory of Mark can be made at Paws and Stripes: pawsandstripes.org
