Mark loved his family and friends deeply. He had a great sense of humor and fun. He loved adventure and greatly enjoyed the outdoors; never more happy than in the mountains or at the ocean. He was passionate about music. He loved animals and his beloved dogs, first Dyce and then Lulu, were longtime companions.
Mark was known as an expert tile setter in the construction industry due to the quality and artistry of his work. He was a skilled carpenter and landscaper. His strong mind made him a creative problem-solver, easily learning new skills. Mark was a gifted artist, crafting a variety of beautiful artwork from stone, tile, metal, and wood. His favorite work was crosses and many family members and friends proudly display his works.
Mark attended Hoffmantown Church where he was discipled by Pastor Gregory Elder and Deacon Ruben Cisneros. He was baptized on January 3, 2018 and belonged to Sagebrush Church Wednesday evening men’s group. One of Mark’s favorite verses was Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Mark will always be remembered as a determined, strong, generous, loyal, funny, sensitive, and loving man. He is loved by many and will be missed. We know he is safe with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that one day we’ll see him again in heaven.
