Marjorie K. (Denton) Van Scyoc

Marjorie K. Van Scyoc, a former resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away peacefully surrounded by family in her home in Las Cruces, NM.

She was born in Billings, MT in 1937 and was raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada until the age of 15.  Her family then moved to Great Falls, MT where she graduated from Great Falls High School.  Marge later graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor’s Degree.  Marge was married to Col. James W. Van Scyoc for over 50 years.

She is survived by her son, Michael Van Scyoc and wife, Aurora;  daughter, Shelly Maddy; grandchildren, Brian, Vanessa, Valerie and Daniel; sisters, Carole France and Phyllis Denton; brother, Gordon Denton; and many other family and friends. Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Col. James W. Van Scyoc; her daughter, Stacey Jean Van Scyoc; her brother, David Denton; and her parents, Herschel and Elizabeth Denton.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 13, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Interment will follow at 2:15 p.m. in the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
