Marjorie Charles Schwab, 78, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Margie was known for her deep faith in God, devotion to her family, compassionate and giving spirit, and love of sports and the outdoors. She was a Stephen Minister for 14 years at Faith Lutheran Church, where she blessed many with her kindness, generosity and sweetness.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Leonard Schwab, and her two children, son Bruce Charles and daughter Merrily Charles Rocco with husband Mike Rocco; and three grandchildren, Macallan (8), Aria (4), and Orion (2) Rocco. She is also survived by two sisters, Nancy Vernon (Grant) and Paulette Murphy (Fred) along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Paul and Doris Erickson; and her first husband, USAF Maj. (Ret) Michael Paul Charles. Margie also deeply enriched the lives of Len's children and their families: Katherine Schwab; Dean and Mindy Schwab Wilken and children John, Chas and Grace; and Mike and Suzie Schwab Dekleva and children Lauren, Lindsay and Josh.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Stephen Ministry (c/o Faith Lutheran Church), or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
