Marion Johnson was born in Jamestown, NY on February 20, 1917. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester L. Johnson in 1988 and her sister, Helen Coons, in 1984. She is survived by her daughter, Diana (David Bower) of Portland, Oregon and Chautauqua, NY; Wayne Johnson (Patricia) of Salt Lake City; twin sons, Mark Johnson (Rochelle) also of Portland, and Myron Johnson (Elaine) of Albuquerque. She had eight grandsons and six great-grandchildren. Marion graduated from Jamestown High School in 1935, where she was a member of Kappa Zeta Chi. She married in 1939 and lived in Jamestown until her husband was transferred to Stockholm, Sweden in 1958. After two years, they moved back to the States and spent the rest of their lives in Albuquerque. Marion loved to travel, both at home and abroad. She liked to read, cook and enjoyed having family nearby for most of her life. She attended and volunteered at St. Paul's Lutheran Church for many, many years. She was President of the Mother's of Twins Club and also Progress Women's Club. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Paul's Luthern Church, 1100 Indian School Rd.
