Marilynn J. Raupfer born on June 4, 1950 in Rock Springs, Wyoming passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Born in Rock Springs, Marilynn’s family moved down here when she was little to Los Alamos where she grew up. Following high school, she moved to Albuquerque to attend College of St. Joseph on the Rio Grande. She soon met the love of her life, William E. Raupfer. The two were married in August of 1969, and they began their life together in Albuquerque until moving to Edgewood in 1999 to enjoy their retirement together peacefully.
Marilynn is survived by her husband, William E. Raupfer; her brother, Jim M. Babich; her two daughters, Pearl L. Newcomb and her husband, Kris L. Newcomb and Cynthia J. Raupfer and her husband, Daniel P. Oliver. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Jason W.J. Fleming and his fiancé, Maria G. Luna, Christian G. Fleming and his wife, Jessica H. Fleming, and Rachel B. Newcomb.
Marilynn was most excited for her oldest grandsons upcoming wedding, as well as learning she is soon to be a great-grandma by her youngest grandson and his wife.
Rosary will be recited Friday, September 21, 2018, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 22, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum Chapel, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
Marilynn will be laid to rest on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Mount Calvary Cemetery surrounded by her family and friends.
