Marilyn Maxine Richie

Marilyn M. Richie, of Los Lunas, NM passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021. She was originally from Garrettsville, OH, and lived in various places, including Alamosa, CO, and Embudo, NM. She and her late husband, Fritz Richie, moved to Los Lunas in 1964. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Jackson (James); granddaughter, Sarah Jackson; brother, Frank "Sonny" Perdue (Ann); and her sister, Kate Cumberland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fritz; brother, Robert Perdue; sister, Janet Wade; and her parents, Frank and Lilly Belle Perdue.

Marilyn was a registered nurse and worked in both doctors' offices and in various hospitals. She also served as an Army nurse and got to live and work in Alaska and Germany, as well as Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and Fort Campbell in Kentucky. Marilyn was well liked by all who knew her, and she had many friends who cared about her. She will be missed.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at FRENCH-University. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 12, 2021, 1:30 p.m., in the Chester T French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Marilyn will then be buried next to her late husband, Fritz.
