Marilyn Jean Kifer passed away Monday, September 12, 2022. She was born Monday, May 22, 1933, in Norton, Kansas to Milo and Lola Rundle. She lived in Denver and Salt Lake City before moving to Albuquerque, and graduated from Highland High School in 1951, and then attended UNM. She married Richard Kifer in 1954 and moved east living in Massachusetts, West Virginia, Florida, and Pennsylvania before returning to New Mexico.
She spent her life as a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 65 years, Richard G. Kifer. She is survived by her three children, Kathy (James Frazier), Richard, Jr. (Terrie) and Michael (Linda); grandchildren, Jeanine, Johanna (Smith), Andrew, and Joel Frazier, Kyle and Kristen Kifer, Bethany (Noel), Michael Jr., and Rebecca Kifer; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service and Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 10:00 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
