Marilyn Gordon

GORDON, MARILYN J.She passed peacefully and comfortable at her home on Friday, October 26, 2012, surrounded by the love and care of her family. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, July 11, 1928, she was 84 years old and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico for 56 years. She had been married to her loving husband, Leon M. Gordon for 65 years until his passing in 2011. They had enjoyed traveling to many exotic places together but her favorite were the winter vacations to Maui. Now they are happily reunited in their love and devotion to one another. She was retired from her career with the federal government at Kirtland Air Force base after many years of service. She loved her family and those close to her and her Kansas City Chiefs football team. She is survived by her son, Steve Gordon; daughters, Theresa and Georgia Gordon; daughter-in-law, Louise Gordon; five grandchildren, Ian, Candace and Van Gordon, and Tyson and Adam Nemudrov; four great-grandchildren, all of Albuquerque, NM and her beautiful cat, Josie. We love and miss you and will never forget all the great memories and laughter we have shared. A private family remembrance will be held at a later date.
