Marilyn J. Clark was called to the Lord on December 18th, 2024.
Marilyn was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and spent most of her adult life living in her beloved Albany, New York where she worked for General Electric as an Administrative Assistant until her retirement after devoting 25 years to her career which brought her many friendships. Marilyn moved to New Mexico in 2015 to be close to family.
Marilyn lived a very zestful life as she loved to travel, embark on an adventure and was an avid sports fan of many venues to include football, Go Bears!!, tennis, hockey, horse racing, and car racing.
Marilyn is survived by her brother, Thomas Geisbush, wife, Cathy, and sister, Susan Eden, husband, Steve Klenke and her most favorite and loved seven nephews and their spouses/families. Her great-nieces/nephews brought such glee to her life. Marilyn shared in the joys of her numerous close cousins and their families. Marilyn had a way and a gift at asking questions of all family members and friends that made you feel like you were the most interesting person in the room. Her wonderful laugh and sense of humor brought joy to all those around her.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Blanche Geisbush, her dearly loved brother, Gregory Geisbush, her beloved Uncle George and Aunt Miriam and her lifetime friend, JoEllen Vollinger, husband, Frederick Vollinger.
Arrangements include visitation on December 30th, from 9:00-11:00AM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd St., Oak Lawn, Illinois with burial following at St. Mary Cemetery, 87th Street & Hamlin Avenue, Evergreen Park, IL 60805. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
