Marie Evelyn Roark

Marie Evelyn Roark, 82, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 21, 2018. Marie was born to Harry and Anna Ellis in Gypsum, KS on January 2, 1936.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Mayer and husband, Raymond of Albuquerque, NM; and her son, Douglas Roark and wife, Ginger of Placitas, NM. She is also survived by her brother, Loren Ellis and wife, Bonnie of Gypsum, KS; and sisters, Nadine Mortimer, of Gypsum, KS, Nola Wetzel and husband, Clarence of Riverside, CA, and Irma Sprout of Gypsum, KS. She also leaves many cherished nieces and nephews and extended family.

Marie will be remembered for her persevering spirit and her dedication to being a wife, mother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 2, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming.
