Marie (Vigil) McCain

Marie Vigil-McCain, age 80, of Questa, NM went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 4, 2020, surrounded by her five children and grandson.

The second of eight children, Marie was born on September 3, 1939, to Frank and Presides Vigil in Questa.

She lived in several states but loved her time best while living in Costa Rica taking care of her garden. If the sun was shining, you would find her outside pruning, planting and maintaining her many fruit trees and local exotic flowers with her dogs by her side.

Marie lost her battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.

I lieu of flowers, Marie and her family asked that you would send donations to the New Mexico Cancer Center in Albuquerque or purchase one of the pieces of art that is displayed throughout the center to help others that are battling cancer.
