Marie Euler-Axelsen

Born in Cameron, OK and a 50 year resident of Albuquerque, Marie passed away at home on the first day of Autumn, her favorite season. Marie was a loving mother of four children, Dr. Bryan L. Euler (Annie), Janet E. Walters (David), Mark R. Euler, and Shelley J. Beaudet (Matthew) and devoted grandmother to Dr. Matthew J. Euler (Dr. Denise Lash), Amanda C. Euler, Mackenzie L. Walters, and Mitchell G. Walters. Marie was preceded in death by spouses, Reverend Lee E. Euler and Morris "Cliff" Axelsen. She was the last survivor of a family of 10 children and, in addition to immediate relatives, leaves numerous nephews, nieces, and beloved friends to mourn. Marie was a career woman who spent many years in the credit field, rising to management at Montgomery Wards. She will be remembered for her devotion to family, her love of the holidays, her beauty, her singing voice, her homemaking, her astuteness, and her sense of fun, such as jitterbugging for her children. Marie remained sharp and intuitive to her last days. The family would like to thank Marie's loving caregivers, in particular, Jessica, Emma, Sabrina, and Rachel. Marie was a believer in Jesus Christ, and those who know Him live with the confidence that they will see her again. (1 Thessalonians 4:13) Services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at French - Wyoming Chapel. Family will be available for visiting from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Private family interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
