Marianne J. Santistevan, age 66, resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away peacefully and joined the loving arms of her son on November 20, 2022. She was born in Mitchel Field AFB, NY on August 31, 1956. She was the youngest of four siblings.
Marianne married the love of her life, Larry Santistevan on April 29, 1978, together they built a beautiful life and raised two beautiful boys, Christopher, and Patrick. Marianne’s skill in the kitchen was above all else. She took pride in preparing a variety of dishes and experimenting with seafood that she could share with others. As she became ill, she found comfort in gardening and took pride in growing her succulents. Anyone that knew Marianne, knew she enjoyed her cigarettes and loved a good massage in which she would nudge specific loved ones for that special treatment. Marianne worked for the grocery industry, specifically the Seafood department for 30 plus years. She took pride in assisting her customers on how to prepare seafood dishes and suggesting different types of seafood for them to try. During this time, she built lasting relationships with her customers and co-workers who became good friends and family. Marianne’s smile radiated a joy when you saw her.
