Marianne K. Ellis

Marianne K. Ellis, 95, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018.

She was born in Wiesbaden, Germany on April 22, 1923 to Martin and Karola Boss. As a young woman, Marianne left Germany for several years and joined the French resistance to the Nazi regime. In the early 1950s she met and married her husband, Roger Ellis, and became an American citizen in the 1960s. She loved music and dancing, and made friends easily. She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Roger, and her children John, Carol and Sue (Susen), her grandchildren Matthew, Andrew and Terri, and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Albert; and her daughter-in-law, Jody. She was preceded in death by her son, Jim; and her sister-in-law, Christel.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018, 3:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
