Marian Carolyn (Rohla) Hardy

Marian Carolyn Hardy (Rohla) was born on Monday, February 15, 1926. She passed on Friday, February 11, 2022. She was born at home in Geneva, Nebraska. She was the second child born to Anton Felix Rohla and Clara Anatasia. She had a sister, Ellen Ruth, and a brother, David Anton.

Marian married Morris Paul Hardy in August 1944 and was married for 66 years until the time of his passing in 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris P. Hardy; son, Morris P. Hardy, Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Amelie Noelle Hardy. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Ferguson and Jacqueline Hardy; three grandchildren, Heather (Rob) Brisman, Joshua (Natalie) Hardy, and Bobbi (Brian) Jaramillo; seven great-grandchildren, Clara, Camille, Caroline Brisman; Katie and Geddy Jaramillo; Sterling and Easton Hardy; and daughter-in-law, Sandy Hardy.

She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed greatly. Though our mom has gone home to the Lord, we know how very happy she is to be in Heaven with those who have gone before her.

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Peralta Memorial United Methodist Church, 25 Wesley Rd, Peralta, NM. Interment will be a family only event to take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery the following day.
