Maria De Jesus Salcedo

SALCEDO, MARIA DE JESUS Age 83, of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 27, 2014. Maria loved being a teacher's aide in the Chicago Public Schools for many years. She was a loving wife to Jesus Salcedo for 52 years, who preceded her in death in 2005. Maria was a devoted mother to Robert, Sergio, Ricardo, and Leticia; loving grandmother to 10 grandchildren, Alejandro, Amanda, Christopher, Nickolas, Michael, Blanca, Isabel, Martha, Sylvia, and Vanessa; and 15 great-grandchildren, April, Frances, Daniel, Desiree, Mariyah, Elisa, Julius, Bella, Emily, Lennon, Joaquin, Emilio, Julia, Willie, Jr., and Delilah; four sisters, and four brothers, Alicia, Rosa Maria, Graciela, Silvia, Jose Luis, Juan Manuel, Flavio, and Enrique Garcia-Munoz. She gave much of her time making rosaries for St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited Wednesday, April 30, 2014, 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Westside. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 1, 2014, 10:00 a.m., at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW with interment to follow at Vista Verde Cemetery.
