Our beloved sister, Maria "Rey" Mirabal, 70, passed away on March 24, 2017. She is preceded in death by parents, Monico and Belinda Mirabal; siblings, Sylvester Mirabal and Cecelio Mirabal. She is survived by Christina Wieland, Rose Silva, Ruth Farallo, Lorrie Mirabal, Miguel Mirabal; numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was a teacher at Grants Public Schools.
Services will be on Thursday, March 30, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - University with Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A Family gathering will follow the Burial at El Pinto, 10500 4th Street NW. Pallbearers will be Marc Mirabal, Juan Mirabal, Danny Mirabal, Brandon Narramore Carl Manning, Charles Manning, John Halper, Payden Scarbro (honorary), Denton Scarbro (honorary), Ryan Hiles (honoray), Mathew Silva (honorary), Luis Farallo (honorary), Jason Richards (honorary), Josh Richards (honorary), and Jake Richards (honorary).
