Margaret "Molly" Zerbach, 61. loving wife, mother, sister, and dedicated, loyal friend to everyone passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Monday morning, November 23, 2015.
Daughter of the late Elsie Shipe and Robert Beasley of Las Cruces, NM with later mentoring from Margaret Chambers. Born in El Paso TX, she lived her early life on a ranch in the Organ mountains that later became a part of the White Sands Missile Range. She graduated from Alamogordo High School and then NMSU with masters in business management, human resources and industrial psychology. Dedicated to both family and work, Molly also had a passion for writing, publishing, painting and salmon fishing. Author of "Border Wars" and editor/publisher of many other works and collections through her company, ALT Plus.
For the last 5 years, she was a contract specialist for the USAF at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, AK and later Kirtland AFB. She worked in the past as part of human resources, purchasing, and finance analysis as well as for the Democratic National committee. An active member of the American Business Women's Association, she planned to retire this month to Hachita, NM to help run a micro-pomegranate farm and mesquite mill with the man that she loved for 36 years. Molly is survived by her husband Steven, sons Nathan and Edward, daughters Angelique and Shirley, grandchildren Owynn, Tarlo, Alexander, Joey and Jenna, a great extended family and amazingly close friends. She will be missed immeasurably and remembered for her endless capacity for love, her room brightening smile and her everlasting adventurous spirit. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. Reception will be held after 3pm at Scarpas Pizzeria 9700 Montgomery Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM.
