Margaret was born on January 20, 1932, as a proud member of Santa Ana Pueblo. She joined her Lord and Savior on February 4, 2025 at the age of 93 in Albuquerque.
She met her husband in downtown Santa Fe while attending the Santa Fe Indian Boarding School and he was on a weekend pass from Kirkland AFB. Thus started her journey as a career military wife. She lived in several states such as Alaska, Oklahoma, Ohio, Texas, Washington state, and Arizona. She even lived in England for three years which she said she enjoyed immensely.
After retiring from the Air Force, they returned to Albuquerque where Margaret worked and retired from UNM Hospital as an LPN. She was happy to comfort and help patients recover from their ailments. In her free time, she liked going to bingo with her friends and having dinner at various restaurants with her family. She traveled abroad to religious sites such as Medjugorje and Lourdes. She also went quite often to one of her favorite places - Las Vegas, Nevada.
She is survived by two sons (Earl and Rudy) and a daughter-in-law (Imelda). She has five grandkids (Krystal, Melissa, Patrick, Tristin, and Kyle). Margaret, also, has seven great-grandkids. She will be greatly missed by all of us.
