Margaret White, 90 of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015. She was born to Milton and Elsie (Groh) Tankersley in Colorado City, TX. She married Bob White and they came to Albuquerque in 1962 and owned and operated Bob White's Supermarket at Candelaria and San Pedro in Albuquerque for 27 years until 1989. She was a long-time member of Hoffmantown Church where she was a greeter and had many close friends and church family members. She was a part of a close knit group of friends who enjoyed playing games and traveling together to many different parts of the world. Margaret is survived by her daughters: Sherry Switzenberg of Scottsdale, AZ and Vicki White of Woodbridge, VA; her grandchildren: Kearstin Nuckols and husband Todd, Tyson Switzenberg and wife Beth; great grandchildren: Allexa, Ashtyn and Aynsley Nuckols and Braydon and Kinley Switzenberg; and her brother Bob Tankersley and wife Diane; and her dear friend and companion Jerry Akins. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob L. White in 1992, her parents; sister: Helen Fox; brother: Milton Tankersley, Jr. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper Dr. NE, Albuquerque with a reception following.
