Margaret Sue (Ryder) Volk

Margaret Sue Volk, age 80, a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother passed away in the comforts of her home in the early hours of February 8, 2018, after fighting a brief battle with cancer.  Margaret was born on February 14, 1937, in Froid, Montana; she will always be our precious Valentine.

Margaret was known to all that crossed her path as a compassionate thoughtful heart that took joy in serving others.  She knew no strangers and welcomed all with open arms.  Her beautiful flower gardens brought much splendor, peace and serenity to all that visited.  Margaret was an artist, and was passionate about creating a beautiful and peaceful home.

She is survived by her loving husband, the love of her life, of 59 years, Louis Volk Jr., her three blessed and grateful sons, Steven R. Volk and wife April Volk, Louis Volk III and wife Elizabeth West and Michael A. Volk, and the pride and joy of her life, her five grandchildren, Louis Volk IV, Haley Sue Volk, Cody Ryder Volk, Abby Grace Volk and Maggie Morgan Volk.   Her brother, Romain Ryder, and sister-in-law, Yvonne, also survive her.  She will be missed by numerous other family and friends.

A private Memorial Service will be held for family and close friends of Margaret’s on Friday, February 16, 2018.
