Margaret Helen Schmierer passed into the hands of our Lord peacefully Sunday afternoon, February 18, 2018 at home in Albuquerque, NM. She was born Margaret Helen Sippel, February 1, 1928 in Missoula, Montana. Margaret was a blessing to all those who knew her as she traveled through life as an active member of Grace United Methodist Church, the Albuquerque African Violet Club, Church Women United, United Methodist Women, all while guiding her children through their lives. She is survived by Beth Hughes, son, Gary Schmierer, wife Mary, 5 children, 8 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren of Ridgecrest CA; daughter, Elizabeth Stickney, husband Jeff, 4 children of Albuquerque, NM; Gwen Schmierer, 3 children, and 1 great grandchild of Reno, NV.

Services will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018, 3:00 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 420 San Lorenzo Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104, followed by a reception in the Church Hall.
