Margaret was born on October 20, 1928, at home in Lansford, Pennsylvania. She met her sweetheart Ted after high school. They were married in 1949 on her 21st birthday. With their four children they spent a wonderful life as an Air Force family traveling the country and camping across Europe. Margaret was a proud and dedicated military wife. She was very involved in the Purple Heart Association. After military retirement, Marge and Ted enjoyed cross-country road trips together, playing golf and sightseeing. She was an avid golfer and member of the Puerto del Sol Ladies Golf Association. While playing with them, she got a hole-in-one which made everyone proud.
Margaret was devoted to her family. She took great care in how her four children behaved and dressed. Her own sense of style carried on until the day she passed. Family meals were her priority. Marge always had her home open, inviting family and friends to many parties and dinners. We will always remember the traditional Czechoslovakian holiday meals and the games and music that followed.
We are forever grateful to Margaret's caregivers at A Love For Life Assisted Living in Albuquerque, as well as her Hospice nurse Diana, who all took loving care of her until her peaceful passing.
Margaret was a devout Catholic her entire life. A private Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Albuquerque on September 22, 2023. Interment followed at Santa Fe National Cemetery where she is now joined with her husband Ted.
