Margaret D. Horton-Davis

Our loving, smart, and friendly mother died on May 17, 2015. She left us with lessons for a lifetime, foremost that we live fully, participating in civil, social and community activities. She was born April 12, 1923 in St. Paul, MN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Davis. Survived by children, David and Mimi Horton, St. Paul, MN, Kitty and Kenneth Smith, Albuquerque, NM, Cyn Horton, Northhampton, MA, Duncan and Lori Horton, Geneva, IL, Nancy Horton, Teri Hogan and Brian McQuiston, Albuquerque, NM; step daughter, Marilyn Davis, Albuquerque, NM; daughter-in-law, Terece Horton, Cape Cod, MA; one sister, Jane Dowd of St. Paul, MN; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter, Barbara Horton, son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Robin Horton; three grandchildren, Rebecca Horton, and Tricia and Teddy Smith. She was a member of Class of '41, at South St. Paul High. Margo attended the college of St. Scholastica, Duluth. Graduate of University of Minnesota, School of Nursing, Member of U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps. Named one of 100 distinguished Alumni on UMN School of Nursing at the School's 100th Anniversary in 2009. A Memorial Service will be Thursday, May 21, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at La Vida Llena, 10501 Lagrima De Oro Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
