Margaret Foster, 84, of Albuquerque, passed away November 29, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Foster Sr. She is survived by her children, Robert P. Foster Jr. and Anna Marie DeCoste; one grandson, Barry Foster; and one granddaughter, Ashley Miller.
She was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War era. Margaret taught at New Futures School and Eisenhower Middle School. She was also an established substitute teacher for several years. She loved reading and instilled the love of reading in her children. Margaret loved animals and enjoyed walking her many dogs over the years. She loved the outdoors, in particular, Cochiti Lake and the beautiful surroundings of Santa Fe.
The family would like to express thanks to St. Catherine Health Care and Rehabilitation Center for their excellent care of Margaret.
Friends and family may visit Thursday, December 3, 2015, beginning at 8:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11509 Indian School Rd. NE, Albuquerque. A Rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., also at The Shrine of St. Bernadette. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho.
